Lordswood Dancentre Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy
Policy brief and Purpose
This company policy includes the measures we are actively taking to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus. You are kindly requested to follow all these rules diligently, to sustain a healthy and safe dance school in this unique environment. It is important that we respond responsibly and transparently to these health precautions. We assure you that we will always treat your private health and personal data with high confidentially and sensitivity.
Lordswood Dancentre Conornavirus (COVID-19) Policy is susceptible to change with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines. Clients should ensure they are up to date with current guidance by regularly visiting gov.uk
Scope
The coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy applies to all our teachers, students and their families who attend Lordswood Dancentre.
Policy Elements
Here, we outline the required actions that we all should take to protect ourselves and others from a potential infection.
i. If you or a member of your household have cold symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/fever, (fever is considered 100.4F) or feel poorly, please do not attend Lordswood Dancentre. Please contact Nicola Maynard by any means, so we may follow current governmental guideline to notify staff and families if necessary, in line with the current guidance.
ii. Staff are required to contact Nicola Maynard.
iii. If you have a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, you can return to Lordswood Dancentre’ classes only after you have fully recovered having followed the current governmental guidelines detailing self-isolation timescales which may be subject to change.
General Hygiene Rules
i. Students, and anyone else entering the building, are to use hand sanitiser when entering/leaving the building, hand sanitiser will be provided by the main entrance.
ii. The toilets, door handles, studio surfaces and any other surfaces within the building will be regularly sanitised/cleaned by the Dancentre staff.
iii. Students are to ensure they have their own belongings in their own bags and there will be no sharing allowed.
iv. Students will be allowed to bring water to class in their own bottle. Disposable cups will be available in the kitchen, if required, however must be disposed off after use.
v. Students will be encouraged to ensure there is safe distance between themselves and other students/teachers.
vi. Ensure coughs and sneezes are covered either by tissue and binned immediately or into your elbow or upper sleeve if tissues are not available.
vii. If a student wishes to wear a mask during class this is acceptable but not compulsory, unless governmental advice changes, however the student must bring their own mask.
National Risk Level
Should the national risk level make it unsafe for Lordswood Dancentre to continue classes in the studio, classes will be reverted to online, where possible.
