Open Door Policy

Lordswood Dancentre runs an open door policy where parents/carers are able to watch a students class at any time during the term.

However in order to protect the students and teachers we ask you to adhere to this policy

• Only 1 parent per student unless otherwise agreed
• Please confirm you are watching to reception before entering the studio.
• If younger siblings need to attend please ensure they are not disrupting the class or running around.
• No hot drinks or food are to be consumed in the studio during class and any cold drinks need to be a bottle. You will be asked to leave if you are eating
• Any concerns regarding the student or teacher please speak to the teacher directly or the principal.
• Should you need to take a phone call please leave the studio to answer the call.
• Please allow the teachers to 'teach' the students and do not add your own instructions. 
• Please do not take any pictures or film any part of the class. If you wish to take any pictures please do so at the end of the class with no other students in the pictures

We do suggest parents do not watch every lesson. Students do listen and participate better when parents are not watching , however we do understand that some students want parents to watch occasionally. We do regularly offer occasions for parents to watch how students are doing including exam rehearsals, fairs, showcases and Big Shows.
